Frédéric Chopin is one of the greatest poets of the piano. A quintessential Romantic composer, he devoted almost his entire body of work to this instrument, through which he revealed an infinite palette of nuances, colours and emotions. His nocturnes, ballades, polonaises, fantasias and études combine virtuosity, elegance and profound intimacy.

Through this concert, José Borges invites the audience to discover a Chopin who is at once dreamy, passionate and spectacular, in a programme that highlights the many facets of his musical genius.
